Beer and Carols in Pittsfield

Zion Lutheran Church of Pittsfield, Mass., will be hosting a special “Beer and Carols” on Thursday, December 19, at 7 p.m., in the back room of Baba Louie’s Pizza at 34 Depot Street in Pittsfield. This event will be the second installment of Zion Lutheran’s already-popular “Beer and Hymns” series of sing-alongs, intended to gather people together in a non-church space for a loud and lively night of popular Christmas carols and songs. Leading the evening will be pianists Timothy Weisman, Andy Barnett and Amy Renak, with Andy Wrba, performing on string bass.

Beer, wine, a variety of non-alcoholic beverages and Baba Louie’s menu items will be available for purchase. Everyone is welcome. There is no admission fee or cover charge, but free-will offerings will be accepted to support the Pittsfield Area Council of Congregations Emergency Fuel Fund.
