Bennington Car Show Rolls into Town

The 48th annual Bennington Car Show is opening from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, September 12, with the popular Swap Meet at Willow Park. Over 100 vendors will be there with everything from car parts to collectible toys. On Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14, we add the show vehicles, tractor pull, kids’ games, DJ and more.

Enjoy our many locally owned and operated restaurants when you come down for the Car Cruise-in on Saturday, sponsored by the BBC on Main Street between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. This is always a nice addition to the Car Show festivities and a great way to see and be seen. The Pavilion will offer food prepared by the local Rotary and Lions Clubs, featuring everyone’s favorite Viet Nam Veterans’ French fries, and you’ll help out students from Mount Anthony Senior High School raise scholarship money by eating at least one of their Dollars for Scholars ice cream cones.

Come have fun and support the Bennington Area Chamber of Commerce, Bennington Rotary Club, Catamount Rotary Club, Bennington Lions Club, Norshaft Lions Club and Viet Nam Veterans Chapter 601. Parking is free; follow the signs. Admission is $5 on Friday and $8 on Saturday and Sunday. Special three-day passes are available for $12. Call 802-447-3311 if you would like to be a vendor. Advance registration ended September 5, but if you have a vehicle to register for the show, you can do so on the field at Willow Park on the day of the event.
