Blues Sanctuary Performs Free Concerts
Blues Sanctuary is based in Bennington, and plays classic and contemporary blues – from old blues masters like B.B. King and Big Joe Turner, to the more contemporary styles of Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa and more. Blues Sanctuary features the voices and blistering musicianship of Rick Burgess, Bruce Marianni, Ken Pallman, Joe Candal and John O’Rourke. The band will be performing on Wednesday, July 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Vermont Veterans’ Home, located at 325 North Street in Bennington. This outdoor concert is free and open to the community. The following week, on Tuesday, July 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. the Manchester and the Mountains Regional Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert Series brings back Blues Sanctuary for another free performance on the Manchester Town Green.
