Cambridge Bluegrass Jam Class
Alan Epstein will be offering his popular Bluegrass Jam/Wernick Method at Hubbard Hall. If you play guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, bass, or dobro, you can be part of a bluegrass jam. No jamming experience necessary. Singing is not required, but encouraged and taught. You’ll work on easy two and three-chord songs at slow speeds. You must be able to tune your instrument and change smoothly between G, C, D, and A. (Fiddles and basses need to know which notes work with which chords.) The classes take place over four Sundays, from 1 to 5 p.m. beginning September 15, in the Beacon Feed Studio at Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, N.Y.
