Cambridge’s Hubbard Hall Plans a Big Weekend of Festivities

Hubbard Hall Projects is planning a big weekend, Friday to Sunday, July 4 to 6, celebrating 37 years of making art and community happen, the long tenure of retiring director, Benjie White and the welcoming of new director David Snider, for the many people who have experienced Hubbard Hall in its many aspects of dance, theater, opera, music, classes, film, gardens, curiosity forums – and the hours of volunteering that make it all work! Friday July 4, from 5 to 7 p.m., it’s the Valley Artisans Market Show and Opening Reception at Freight Yard Depot. There will be an Old and New Members’ Work Retrospective in the Freight Depot Theater/Gallery. Beginning at 8 p.m., it’s Fiddle Weekend Revisited. Saturday and Sunday there will be fun activities for the whole family: workshops, arts and crafts, food, music, performances and games. Hubbard Hall is located at 25 East Main Street, Cambridge, N.Y. 518-677-2495/hubbardhall.org.
