CAT-TV Offers Scholarship
Catamount Access Television (CAT-TV) is seeking applicants for the Chester A. Hickok Memorial Scholarship, established in 2009 to honor Chester Hickok, who gave much of himself to CAT-TV and the community. It will be awarded to a high school graduate who will be enrolled in an accredited college or university to further their education in film, video production and/or communications. The ideal candidate must demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a creative, analytical mind. The $500 award is available to graduating seniors who live in in Bennington, North Bennington, Woodford, Shaftsbury or Pownal, Vt.
Applications, due May 5, may be obtained from the Guidance Office at Mount Anthony Union High School, the Southwest Career Development Center and Grace Christian School. Applications will be reviewed by the Awards Committee and the recipient will be announced at the year-end awards program.
