Curious Incident of the Dog

The Clark Art Institute presents an encore screening of London National Theatre’s smash-hit production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time on Thursday, August 21, at 2 p.m. The play, based on the novel by Mark Haddon, chronicles the story of Christopher, 15 years old, who has an extraordinary brain — exceptional at math yet ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. When he falls under suspicion of killing Mrs. Shears’s dog Wellington, he records each fact about the event in the book he is writing to solve the mystery of the murder. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world. Tickets are $18 ($15 members, students). To order tickets, call 413-458-0524.
