Zink and Company are among the performers to be featured at the Olde Country and Bluegrass Festival in Danby this weekend.
The Olde Country and Bluegrass Festival, sponsored by the Green Mountain Climber’s Snowmobile Club, will once again return to Powers Field in Danby from Thursday to Saturday, July 23 to 25. It starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday night, and ends Saturday at 10 p.m. The venue, located at 245 Tifft Road, will this year host musicians that include Beartracks, Bob Amos and Catamount Crossing, Cannonball Express, Don Bishop and the Mountaineers, Just Passin’ Through, the Seth Sawyer Band, Smokey Greene, Zink and Company, Dave Nichols and Spare Change, and Aaron Foster and Destination Blue. A concession stand offers food, water, coffee, soda and ice for those who wish to camp. Early bird camping in the rough is now open. A $10 fee and weekend pass is required before Wednesday, July 23. Dogs are only allowed on leash at the camp site, not in the performance area. Weekend passes are $50; daily passes are $15 on Thursday and $25 on Saturday and Sunday.
