Dorset Library May Exhibit
The Dorset Village Library will present photographer Seline Skoug at a public reception on Saturday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All works will be for sale, with proceeds benefiting the library. Skoug began shooting photos as a young woman, during her travels. Her photographs are notable for their sensitive treatment of light and a lyrical sense of humor. In 2012, one of her photographs, taken in Sunderland, Vt., was awarded an honorable mention by Horticulture Magazine, chosen from 8,000 photos. Skoug is executive director of the Southern Vermont Arts Center. She is on the board for Meals on Wheels of Bennington County and is an A-EMT with the Arlington and Manchester Rescue Squads. She is also a volunteer fly-fishing instructor with Casting for Recovery. The show will extend through the month of May. For more information, call 802-867-5774 or visit dorsetlibaryinfo.org.
