Emerald Ash Borer Workshop
Forest health specialist Mike Parisio of the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation comes to the Center for Advancement of Public Action (CAPA) at Bennington College at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 10, to provide information on the emerald ash borer (EAB) and Vermont’s response to managing the pest, as well as an overview of some basic management strategies. Two Logger Education to Advance Professionalism (LEAP) credits will be offered to logger participants. To get to CAPA, take Route 67A on the south end of the Bennington College campus, turn right (north) at the first T intersection, pass Harlan Road on the right and park in the lot next to it. Cross the street and walk northwestward to the large white marble building on the north side of the sidewalk.
