Fall Festival and Flea Market
A Fall Festival and Flea Market will be held on Saturday, October 18, in West Pawlet, Vt. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine, at the West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department, located at 2806 Route 153, Main Street. There will be a variety of flea market items from local and visiting vendors. There will be a food sale, a luncheon, a a 50/50 Drawing and bobbing for apples for the children. The Food Sale will offer many homemade items. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be a pumpkin painting contest; at 11, there will be a pie baking contest – pumpkin or apple, with a $5 entry fee for the pie baking contest. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners. Entries need to be delivered no later than 10:45 a.m. The luncheon begins at 11:30; the menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages. Raffle tickets for the 50/50 drawing are $1, and may be purchased at the event.
A limited number of vendor spaces in the flea market area are still available for rent, first come, first serve; price at $10 per space. Contact Edna Winot at 802-645-1074 to reserve a space.
