Downtown Pittsfield, Mass. has a new gallery – four artists from NUarts Studios, 311 North Street, have taken over 25 Union Street to convert it into a seasonal pop up gallery to serve summertime visitors to the Upstreet Cultural District. Marguerite Bride, Debbie Carter, Joanie Ciolfi and Scott Taylor have filled the intimate gallery space with their watercolors, oils, mixed media and acrylics, prints and cards. New work is hung approximately every two weeks, keeping it fresh and fun all summer long. The Pop Up Gallery has hours compatible with Barrington Stage’s main-stage performances across the street. Half way through the summer, the little gallery has been mobbed with theatre goers. The gallery is also open by appointment. See Popup Art Gallery on Union Street on facebook or visit popupunionst.wordpress.com for details.
