Grafton Food Festival
The third annual Grafton Food Festival in historic Grafton Village, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, will feature tastings of local products, cooking demonstrations, children’s activities and more than 20 local vendors highlighting the culinary traditions of southern Vermont. Festival-goers will enjoy tastings of the local vegetables, meats, cheeses and baked goods, plus a cooking demonstration with Jean Kerr, editor of Northeast Flavor magazine. At noon, kids will have a chance to showcase their talent in the free children’s culinary competition. Chef Esposito will also give a cooking demonstration followed by a cookbook signing, before heading into the kitchen to help prepare the evening’s five-course dinner. Tickets are $10 at the gate; kids under age 12 are free. A portion of the proceeds from the festival will support culinary scholarships for Vermont high school students through The Windham Foundation.
