It’s a Big Arts Weekend in Bennington
A weekend full of arts, crafts, music and food is all set to happen in Bennington, Friday through Sunday, August 1 to 3, when the Bennington Arts Weekend and Southern Vermont Art and Craft Festival converge. The Festival is located at Camelot Village on Route 9 West, where visitors can enjoy an incredible variety of fine art and craftwork for sale, including jewelry, textiles, pottery, handmade wooden pieces, and more. The specialty food tent features treats to take home like jams, chocolates, sauces and baked goods. Enjoy live music, including contra dancing on Saturday afternoon, Vermont craft beer on tap and food vendors offering local farm-to-table fare. Have the kids stop by the Vermont Arts Exchange Bus to enjoy a hands-on art experience. And be sure to stop by the Bennington Arts Weekend Tent to find out about all the great activities taking place throughout town. All this in the beautiful atmosphere that only Southern Vermont can offer.
The town of Bennington will host live music and plein air artists on the streets. The First Friday Gallery Tour and Art Walk finds downtown open late with most cultural venues and shops open until 8 p.m. For more information, go to
