Making a Creative Economy Work in the Rural Northeast

On Wednesday, July 16, at 6 p.m., the Slate Valley Museum presents ‘The Creative Economy in the Rural Northeast: Can it Work,’ a roundtable discussion featuring panelists who will share their experiences and explore challenges in today’s economy, faced by creative freelancers, small businesses and cultural nonprofit organizations. Attendees are welcome to join the conversation and share their own perspectives, and will also have the opportunity to explore the ‘Slate as Muse’ National Art Exhibition at the museum.
