New Musical Director at St. James
Saint James’ Episcopal Church of Arlington, Vt. announces Daniel Frank of Manchester as their new organist and director of music. Frank is studying pipe organ at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y., and pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in music.
One of his initial efforts for expanding the Church’s Music Program is the organization of a Summer Choir, open to all music lovers over the age of 14, regardless of musical ability and expertise. The choir will learn and sing a variety of repertoire for the 10 a.m. Sunday service and some informal concerts. No religious affiliation is required; all are welcome. Along with keyboard, Frank also plays guitar, banjo, autoharp, mountain dulcimer and any other instrument that he can get his hands on. He has performed on the Aeolian Organ at Hildene in Manchester.
