New Parents’ Gallery Talks
The Clark Art Institute welcomes new parents and their infants to a series of New Parents Gallery Talks on select Friday mornings through late winter. The free hour-long sessions will be held at 10:15 a.m. on November 7, December 5, January 2, February 6 and March 6. The talks will give new parents a cognitive break from thinking about all things baby, and are best suited for parents with pre-toddlers. The talks are a chance for parents to engage with the Clark collection with their infants and participate in conversations about the art in a way that welcomes all contributions.
“Parenting can be exhausting. New parents can benefit from mental stimulation and interaction outside the home,” said Ronna Tulgan-Ostheimer, director of community programs at the Clark. No registration is required. Strollers and front-style baby carriers are permitted. For information, call Nadine Dosa at 413-458-0410. The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Mass.
