North Bennington Living History Day
North Bennington’s ninth annual Living History Day takes place on Sunday, August 24, from noon to 2 p.m. As always, the festive event will be held in front of Powers Market, with a backdrop of the village’s new decorative fountain, a gift of the Park-McCullough House Association. The North Bennington Living History celebration is held each year to honor local residents of distinction who have made some significant community contribution. This year’s theme is ‘A Legacy of Generosity’ to express the community’s appreciation for generations of benefactors from the Hall, Park, McCullough and Scott families. The event is free and open to the public, and will feature stories, music, lemonade, hot dogs, balloons and much more.
