Noted Watercolorist O’Brien Exhibits in South Londonderry
The work of watercolorist Robert O’Brien, on exhibit at the South Londonderry Free Library through February, includes local Vermont scenes and a few inspired by the artist’s visit to Provence, France, last summer. O’Brien is a Signature Member of the American, National and New England Watercolor Societies, and an award-winning artist and instructor, both in the United States and abroad. His work was featured in the December 2011 and February 2012 issues of the French watercolor magazine, ‘l’Art de l’Aquarelle.’
A portion of the sales of his work will be donated to the library. The exhibit can be seen during library hours: Mondays and Fridays 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m., Wednesdays 10 to noon, 1 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The South Londonderry Free Library is located at 15 Old School Street in South Londonderry, Vt.
