Oldcastle Theatre Company to Stage ‘My Fair Lady’
Oldcastle Theatre Company in downtown Bennington is staging ‘My Fair Lady’ by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe. Adapted from George Bernard Shaw’s play ‘Pygmalion’ and Gabriel Pascal’s motion picture, the production will be directed by Frank Latson, an Oldcastle veteran, with musical direction by Tim Howard. ‘My Fair Lady’ features Scott McGowan as Henry Higgins, Richard Howe as Alfred P. Doolittle and Peter Langstaff as Colonel Pickering. Emma Ritchie makes her Oldcastle debut as Eliza Doolittle. Returning to Oldcastle, Trudi Posey plays Mrs. Pearce. This is a production filled with beautiful classics such as ‘Wouldn’t It Be Loverly’ and ‘On The Street Where You Live,’ and is not one you will want to miss.
