Pawlet’s Art on the Green is Now Art on Edie’s Green

Pawlet's Art on the GreenBecause of the overwhelming enthusiasm for the new site, and with Edie Mach’s generous permission, Pawlet Scholarships’ annual art show and sale be held on her field by Flower Brook. To enter from Route 30, turn onto Cemetery Road, between the post office and the bridge.

The show will be held on Saturday, August 31, from 10 to 4. This will be the 17th presentation of this show. Parking is available on the field, or you can park along the road, or in the church parking lot on
Route 133.

As always, there will be works in a variety of media at this free event. The participating artists will be donating 20 percent of their proceeds to the Pawlet Scholarship Fund. This fund helps Pawlet residents further their education, whether they are traditional students going to college, or adults wanting new or advanced training.

At this community event, you can enjoy the art and meet the artists. In buying local art, you can enhance your own walls and start your holiday shopping, as well as helping the local economy and aspiring Pawlet scholars. Hadley Stock will offer Southern comfort food and barbecue at the event. For more information about the art show or the Fund, contact Anita Pomerance at 802-325-3786 or [email protected]
