Red Fox Community School Announces Move to LTS
Red Fox Community School (RFCS) enters its third academic year this fall, this year in a new home; they’ll be will be moving to a rental space within Long Trail School in Dorset, where students will enjoy access to the 16-acre campus along with the use of the LTS library, theater, common spaces and fieldhouse.
Community has been at the heart of RFCS since its inception in 2017, where teachers are dedicated to educating and knowing children as individuals. Red Fox is already a feeder to LTS, and this fresh relationship is an opportunity for the stakeholders in both communities to cultivate friendships and collaborate.
RFCS founding parent and chair of the Board of Directors, Maxine Linehan remarks, “As a parent, it is critical that my children’s social and emotional well-being is prioritized. Learning how to live happily and be yourself in this fast-changing world is invaluable, and having our family philosophies mirrored in school creates a very consistent existence for our children. I am thrilled to continue building upon the supportive relationship with LTS.”
“Long Trail is delighted to welcome the Red Fox Community School to our campus,” said head of School Seth Linfield. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for our students and the RFCS students to learn and grow together.”
