Saratoga’s Flurry Festival to Feature Traditional Music and Dance

Dance, sing, jam and more at the 27th Flurry Festival, February 14 to 16, in historic Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Festival headquarters are the Saratoga Springs City Center and the Hilton Hotel, with more performances and workshops scheduled at Saratoga Music Hall, Café Lena and the Parting Glass Pub. The Flurry is well known as the winter weekend for dancers and music Lovers of all ages, featuring more than 400 performers and over 250 events in five venues. Events this year will include a huge lineup of programs for families with young children, many new and exciting programs for teens, international music and dance events, non-stop swing and contra dancing, jamming, music instruction, storytelling, and more. Festival goers of all ages will enjoy international music and dance experiences like African Jive Dancapalooza, Cajun dance, regional Greek folk dances, Irish singing, yodeling, Yiddish square dancing, English country dancing, Appalachian square dancing, waltzing, two step, disco, hip hop, Reggae, Ska and more.
