Scarecrow Festival to Raise Funds for Scholarships

On Saturday, October 25, from 12 to 3 p.m., the Maple Street School Parent Association will welcome children and their families from around the Northshire region to the fifth annual Scarecrow Festival, with lots of activities for kids, including crafts and games; a book, toy and winter gear sale; a bouncy house; music; and of course, scarecrows! Enjoy lunch at the School’s Harvest Café, which will be serving chilis, soups and pizza and a great selection of baked goods. Adults can accompany their children free of charge with a $5 admission for each child. Most of the activities are included with paid admission. Fun Halloween jewelry and a raffle will also be available.

All proceeds will benefit the Maple Street School Scholarship Fund, which provides financial aid to over 40% of the school’s current students. Maple Street School is located at 322 Maple Street in Manchester Center.
