Signature Songs in Salem

Signature Songs, the songs that made famous singers famous, will fill the Mainstage at Fort Salem Theater in Salem, N.Y., August 15 to 17, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m., when Kathy Beaver returns from retirement, joined by Broadway stalwart Bill Carmichael and local teen performers Brendan Dailey and Carolyn Shields.

Beaver grew up on the Fort Salem stage, which was maintained and filled every summer by her father, the late Quentin Beaver. She became known regionally for her popular Patsy Cline tribute shows. Cline will be represented again, along with Judy Garland, Eydie Gormé, Streisand and more. She and Fort Salem’s artistic director Jay Kerr will also sing some duets.
