St. Lukes Church to Host Old-Fashioned Tent Revival
Friday, September 5, through Sunday, September 7, Saint Luke’s Church in Cambridge, N.Y. will host an old-fashioned tent revival in their back yard on Saint Luke’s Place. Father Nigel Mumford of By His Wounds Ministry will be the keynote speaker on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday night at 7 p.m. Mumford is an international speaker and author; he became the founder of By His Wounds in 2013, a ministry committed to restoring the healing gifts of Jesus Christ to His Church, coming alongside all who are in need of His healing touch, in body, mind, and spirit. He will also be the guest celebrant for the 9 a.m. Sunday Service.
Live praise and worship music will fill the tent Saturday starting at 1 p.m., along with a message from Pastor Dave Martin of Hope United Methodist Church of Troy, N.Y. From 3 to 4 p.m., Pastor Charlie Muller of Victory Christian Church of Albany, N.Y. will preach the good news. Pastor Brian Weeks, who has shared his prophetic ministry with Saint Luke’s in the past, returns to minister to all from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
A chicken and biscuit supper will be available for purchase from 5:30 to 6:30. The cost is $10 and includes beverage and dessert. Following dinner, a healing service will be led by Father Nigel and trained ministry teams will be on hand to pray for those who wish individual prayer.
