Streetfest: Fun for Everyone
How high will he go? Acrobat John Stork will be stacking his chairs and juggling for audiences at the StreetFest on Manchester’s Main Street, Friday, July 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. Stork antics last year wowed onlookers as he flipped, jumped and defied gravity.
Also at this year’s Streetfest, the Downtown School will be making homemade silly putty and Dr. Seuss’s Oobleck; the Vermont Bowl Mill will be on hand with craftsman Steve Grossfeld exhibiting his wooden bowls; Stacy Gates brings her flair for creating with examples of work from Bogate Studios, and more. There will be lots of great food to feast on, too, with ice cream from South Derry Scoops, cookies and goodies from ServPro, hot dogs from NanZ’s, and 60s-inspired fare from Rachel’s Funky Foods. Beer and wine will be available from the Perfect Wife. In all, 25 vendors will be participating in the event, and the Don’t Leave Band will be performing throughout the evening. For more information, email [email protected] or call 802-362-5333.
