Sugar Daze are Back at Okemo

February marks the start of maple sugar season, when sugarmakers all over the state spend their days collecting sap to turn into maple syrup. Meanwhile, Okemo Mountain Resort will be tapping into the sweet sounds of notable musical artists with Sugar Daze, a free concert series. Saturday, February 15, from 3 to 6 p.m., Adam Gardner and Ryan Miller of alternative rock band Guster, will play an acoustic set in the Sitting Bull with Pete Kilpatrick opening. Friday, March 14, Kip Winger, from the multi-platinum rock band Winger, will play a solo acoustic set with Pete Kilpatrick opening. Saturday, March 15, there will be a free outdoor performance with local favorites, Gypsy Reel, the Pete Kilpatrick Band and Matisyahu’s high energy, eclectic style of stripped down roots reggae. Concert-goers can also enjoy a barbecue prepared by Okemo’s culinary staff and a beer garden featuring a variety of brews. For more information, visit okemo.com or call 802-228-1600.
