Sullivan Named State Director for Women in Government

Representative Linda Joy Sullivan of Dorset, who represents the Bennington-Rutland District consisting of Dorset, Peru, Landgrove, Danby and Mount Tabor, has been selected as the State Director for the State of Vermont for the Women in Government organization. The organization is committed to party parity and diversity, equity and inclusion in leadership and all forms. Sullivan will be the Vermont go-to ambassador, relied upon as the legislative leader, along with the Women in Government Board of Directors, to keep the organization informed about pressing policy issues in Vermont and ensure that the organization is meeting the State’s needs. She is also the northeast regional director of the National Foundation of Women Legislators, and was recognized by the organization as a Women of Excellence.
