Vermont Arts Exchange (VAE) celebrates 22 years of spooky, spirited, festive family fun in its annual Halloween Parade on Friday, October 31, beginning at 4 p.m. Marchers, monsters, artists, musicians, dancers, drummers, jugglers, friends and neighbors of all ages dress up and promenade through town, accompanied by music – bring your instruments and join the band – dancing, and large, sculptural costumes. This wildly popular event draws hundreds of participants and visitors each year. All are welcome to join the fun, or cheer and support from the sidelines.

Participants gather at VAE’s Sage Street Mill before meandering down Sage Street, through the village of North Bennington and back for cider, a bake sale, pizza by the slice, a bonfire and more. Revelers of all ages are invited to compete in a Halloween Costume Contest, with prizes awarded for imaginative ensembles!

Vermont Arts Exchange is located at the Sage Street Mill, 29 Sage Street, in North Bennington, Vt. Call VAE at 802-442-5549 or visit vtartxchange.org.
