Vermont Reading Partners Sponsor a Free Hockey Match
On Sunday, February 9, at 4 p.m. Vermont Reading Partners hosts their annual charity hockey match between the Green Mountain Boys and the Vermont Law Enforcement Hockey Club at Manchester’s Riley Rink. Admission is free. The afternoon includes Chuck-a-puck, for a chance to win half the purse, and free books for children of all ages. The free Bookshare table opens at 2:00 p.m. Vermont Reading Partners, an affiliate of ProLiteracy, is a volunteer literacy program that offers free help to children and adults throughout southwestern Vermont.
