As if a summer’s evening in Vermont weren’t magical enough already…the Vermont Symphony Orchestra conjures up ‘Spellbound:’ a dreamscape of enchantment. Their musical sorcery will spirit you to Middle Earth, and then safely back to your picnic spread. The concert will conclude with the spectacular 1812 Overture, marches and fireworks.
It’s happening at Manchester’s Riley Rink at Hunter Park on Thursday, July 2, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. The gates will open at 5 p.m. for picnicking. Bring blankets and chairs. No glass will be allowed in the pavilion. Tickets are available at Northshire Bookstore in Manchester, the Winhall Market in Bondville and the Dorset Union Store in Dorset
(or at the gate, depending on availability). Adults are $32/$37 at the gate. Under age 18 are free with an advance adult ticket purchase only/$12 at the gate.
