Williamstown Blessing of Animals

The First Congregational Church of Williamstown, Mass., is hosting a Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, May 31, at 10 a.m.  Bring your pet or a photo or memory of a pet: all animals must be on leads or crated.  Children may bring a favorite stuffed animal. We will first gather in front of the church at 906 Main Street. A short service with music and a blessing by Reverend Mark Longhurst will take place in the Sanctuary. Larger animals must stay outside, but housebroken animals are welcome to come inside for the service.  Afterwards, we’ll move back outdoors for refreshments. For more information, call 413-458-4273.
