Williamstown Parade and Events
Williamstown, Mass. will host its annual Hometown Fourth of July Celebration on Friday, July 4, beginning at 10 a.m., on the lawn of the Williams College Museum of Art, when visiting actors to the Williamstown Theatre Festival will make the founding documents come to life as they read the original Founding Documents and the British reply. The parade will kick off promptly at 11 a.m., and travel Route 2 to Spring Street. The barbecue will follow at its new location on the front lawn of the Clark, where parade goers can get complimentary hot dogs, chips, watermelon, cookies and beverages. This is an opportunity to be on the grounds of the Clark for their ribbon cutting, set to take place at 1 p.m. The celebration continues into the evening with a concert at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks at 9.
